Square for Restaurants Disruption

Our engineering team has identified and resolved the disruption that caused some sellers using the redesigned Square for Restaurants Point of Sale to revert to an earlier version of the software. If you have been affected by this, please follow these instructions to restore the updated version: For iPad users: Close the app by swiping it up, then reopen it by tapping on the app icon. For Square Register/Square Terminal users: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until you see the option to restart the device on screen. Tap the button to restart. Consumer Android app: "Swipe up" to close out of the app then tap the app to reopen it.After completing these steps, the app will look as expected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we worked to fix the problem.
